Early Impressions
It’s impressive the sheer number of games, especially the number of exclusives Microsoft showed off during their briefing. We expect a lot of games from one of the big 3, but they drove the message home that Xbox fans could expect the newest and flashiest games, no matter what their preferences are.

Head Hunters
Phil Spencer announced that Microsoft acquired four smaller game studios: Ninja Theory Ltd., Playground Games, Undead Labs LLC, and Compulsion Games. Each of these studios are vastly different and will greatly diversify Microsoft’s offerings. Read more about these acquisitions here.

Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 was probably the best “and one more thing” Microsoft has shown in years. The game world looks incredible and while we haven’t learned much, we’re expecting great things from the developers of the beloved Witcher 3.
