The Ubisoft Press Conference was just as weird as ever for E3 2016

The Ubisoft Press Conference started with a carnival esque dance number with a Queen backing track. Ubisoft is known for their “out there” conferences every year at E3. As usual, comedian Aisha Tyler played the host for the fifth consecutive year. Quote ”

The new entry in the Ghost Recon series takes place in a fictional future where a drug cartel has taken over Bolivia and turned it into the biggest drug operation in the world. You play as a team of special ops soldiers sent to stop the operation from the inside.

Ubisoft announced a brand new IP, a massive open-world set partially in the Alps where players participate in extreme winter sports on grand moments like skiing and base jumping. Play with your friends and compete with each other in various high speed challenges as well as share replays and highlights. This gameplay walkthrough can explain it a lot better than I can.

Launches in December

Similar to Microsoft’s conference, a lot of the stuff from the Ubisoft Press Conference looks great but nothing really blew me away. In fact, my favorite game from the presentation might just be the South Park game.
