Update: Forbes recently released an article claiming that the initial leak and images came from a parody nintendo twitter account. The information could still have some truth to it, but all we can say for certain is that we will find out tomorrow.
NerdLeaks recently discovered two trademarks that were just requested today: “PoKéMoN SUN” and “PoKéMoN MOON”! So if you were wondering what Nintendo will be announcing during their Pokemon Direct tomorrow, then at least one part of the mystery has been solved. Nonetheless, one has to wonder what else will be announced alongside these two new versions of the beloved Pokemon franchise.
For example, it’s safe to assume that the game will be released for the 3DS. However, the amount of grandeur Nintendo has put into advertising Pokemon for its 20th anniversary can make someone wonder if the game will be spanning more than just one console. They did after all get their own ad for the Super Bowl and will be having a commemorative 3DS releasing on February 27th, which is the same day when Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow are re-releasing as digital downloads on the Nintendo eShop. So hopefully some really interesting information and maybe a look at some gameplay will be revealed tomorrow. What are your thoughts on what they will show?
