PlayStation Builds Hype at Paris Games

Hello, everybody! Today is a great day to own a PlayStation 4! Wait…you don’t have one? Now’s the perfect time to grab yourself one because tons of new information have been released on all the new exclusive games coming to the PlayStation 4 system! Paris Games Week is currently being held, and oh my, the hype is real, you guys. All of these games look fantastic in terms of art, narrative, originality, and gameplay. And they’re all coming to the PlayStation 4! Let’s take a look at some of the games that were announced.

Matterfall

Wow. That’s the first thing I thought after seeing this trailer. Everything about this game screams “awesome” from the visuals, the action, and the originality! Watching this made me genuinely excited to own a PS4, making Matterfall a must-have for whenever it’s released (soon, if divine beings are nice to us). I want to play this game now!

RIGS Mechanized Combat League

I’m throwing my money at the screen, but nothing is happening! PlayStation hasn’t released much information about their venture into virtual reality, but with a trailer like this, they’re already saying enough. Their VR headset, currently titled Project Morpheus, is going to be a top contender in the VR market, especially with fantastic looking titles like RIGS. Who doesn’t want to get inside a giant robot and take out other people in robots? Sign me up!

Robinson: The Journey

“Robin, are you ready for a different game?” I got chills! No, I’m not ready! I’m taking off my VR headset and getting away from the scary/beautiful Tyrannosaurus Rex! Did you guys see that thing? This trailer builds so much hype for Project Morpheus! Robinson: The Journey looks graphically beautiful and completely immersive (and, admittedly, features a better version of Destiny’s Ghost character). I want it!

Horizon Zero Dawn

This game, to me, screams “Game of the Year 2016 nominee!” Players have already seen this trailer, but with the added commentary from the game’s Senior Producer, new information about the RPG elements and the story elements of the game came to light. I was already pumped for Horizon Zero Dawn, but now I’m officially hyped! The game looks to be utilizing the PS4 to its full potential graphically, making Horizon a must on my pre-order list.

No Man’s Sky

This is it, you guys! An official release date for the mysterious No Man’s Sky! Do I really have to wait until June of 2016? I need it now! Players have eagerly been awaiting an official date from Hello Games, and now we have it! Numerous gameplay videos have already been released to keep players’ anticipation hyped, but now the hype is real! This game looks incredible in every aspect, and now we just have to wait…(notice I didn’t say “patiently”).

So what do you guys think? Are you excited for these games? Which one are you looking most forward to? Let me know in the comments below!
