Top Shelf Gaming seeks to be the online voice that helps thrust video game culture into mainstream society and provides quality content that speaks to the gamer while remaining accessible to the non-gamer. With a focus on opinion-based articles and an awareness of social issues, TSG is meant to be a platform for those who have something to say regarding video game industry happenings. And now for the first time, TSG is accepting help from its readers.
Join the Top Shelf Gaming writing staff!
Top Shelf Gaming began as a Tumblr blog in 2014. As the site expands, writing will always remain a core focus of TSG. Top Shelf Gaming invites its readers into thoughtful conversations about video games. As a member of the TSG writing staff you will be able to direct those conversations and be a part of a larger narrative that is taking shape every day! We currently have a need for the following staff positions:
- Section Editors
- Opinion/Feature Writers
- News Reporters
In addition, we are also looking for interns for the Spring 2016 semester. If you are a Chapman University student and are interested in an internship that teaches you the ins and outs of Internet writing, inquire at firstname.lastname@example.org.
While we would love to compensate you, Top Shelf Gaming is run entirely by volunteers. All ad revenue goes straight back into the site and other TSG initiatives. However you will be able to plug your social accounts/other projects. There will also be limited opportunities to receive review copies of games, attend events as press, and interview industry professionals.
If you are interested in a staff position please use the contact form below. Introduce yourself and briefly explain why you would like to join the team and your experience or simply ask for more information. You may apply for more than one position. We look forward to hearing from you!
