Ana and Junkrat will soon be playable in Heroes Of The Storm

Two Overwatch heroes will be coming to Blizzard’s MOBA

Heroes of The Storm has recently announced that a pair of Overwatch characters, Ana and Junkrat are on their way to the game in near future. In addition, Volskaya Foundry Battleground inspired by Volskaya Industries will be the next new map.

On September 25, only a few days after Ana was announced as the new addition to the game, she became available on the Public Test Region server in Heroes of the Storm. Without a surprise, Ana, who is a hybrid healer/ sniper in Overwatch, will also serve as a ranged support character. Her skills have been recalibrated to make her strong in the Nexus as well. Aside from her original skills like Biotic Grenade, sleep dart and Nano Boost, she also gained a new ability, the Eye of Horus. This skill can do damage takes up to 175 off an enemy’s health bar while also provide hearing that restores up to 300 hit points.

On the other hand, not much about Junkrat, the explosive enthusiast, has been revealed. According to the Volskaya Foundry map introduction video posted by Blizzard, Junkrat seems to be a ranged Assassin who can fire bombs and explosives to eliminate his opponents. Aside from that, we will have to wait for spotlight videos on him to find out more.

The Volskaya Foundry map has a capture point in each of three lanes and the team that captures it will be provided with Triglav Protector, which is a giant pilotable mech robot. This robot needs two players to operate, where one is governing its movements and the other is controlling the gun to deal damage. The map also is equipped with conveyor belt floors surrounding its capture points that can push players around. While Volskaya Foundry map and Ana have been updated on the PTR server, Junkrat is expected to be revealed further down the line.
